Information you choose to share
When you contact TheSiteEdge, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, website address, the service you are interested in, and details about your project. Phone and website fields are optional. Please avoid sending passwords, payment information or other sensitive information through the inquiry form.
I use this information to respond, discuss your needs, prepare proposals and manage our working relationship. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
Contact forms and correspondence
Website inquiries are stored in WordPress and sent to my business email inbox so I can review and respond to them. Email and hosting services also process the information needed to deliver and store those messages.
If you contact me directly by email or phone, I use the details you share to handle that conversation and any resulting work. Please contact info@thesiteedge.com if you need to correct information in an inquiry.
Website operation and hosting
The website is hosted through WP Engine. Hosting, delivery and security services may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser details, timestamps and error logs to operate the website, diagnose problems and help prevent abuse.
The live website uses HTTPS to encrypt information in transit. No website, email service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics is not enabled on this website. If analytics tools are added later, this policy will be updated to explain what information is collected and how it is used.
WordPress, hosting and security features may use cookies needed for login, website operation or abuse prevention. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
Service providers and other disclosures
Information may be processed by the providers needed to host the website, deliver email, maintain the site and help prevent abuse. Access is limited to the work those services perform for the business. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably needed to address fraud, abuse, a dispute or a security issue.
Links to client websites and other resources take you to services with their own privacy practices. This policy describes TheSiteEdge’s website and inquiries; it does not describe every service operated by a linked website.
Keeping and deleting information
Inquiry records and correspondence are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a client relationship, maintain appropriate business records or resolve an issue. The appropriate period depends on the purpose and any applicable recordkeeping obligations.
You can contact me to request access to, correction of or deletion of information you have shared. I may need to verify the request and retain records needed for legal obligations or an ongoing matter. Backup copies and provider records may remain subject to their normal retention cycles.
